Thorough Oil Change Service and more

Factors like delaying oil changes, low motor oil quality or wrong motor oil for the engine, lead to poor lubrication and accumulation of sludge. This is one of the main causes for many costly engine malfunction and breakdowns.

Follow these step to ensure a complete oil change service

1 - CHANGE THE MOTOR OIL AT THE RECOMMENDED INTERVALS. Always follow the Manufacturer's recommended oil change intervals.

2 - CLEAN THE MOTOR OIL SYSTEM  before adding new motor oil.

This will ensure the oil system is clean and ready to receive the fresh oil to allow optimum lubrication of the engine. Do this every 3 Oil Changes.

4 - REPLACE THE MOTOR OIL FILTER

Always use high quality oil filters and follow the manufacturer's recommendations.

5 - ADD AN ANTI-FRICTION ADDITIVE TO THE NEW MOTOR OIL

Anti-friction additives improve lubrication of the motor oil by making the engines internal surfaces smoother. Please note that some LIQUI MOLY Motor Oils contain anti-friction additives (Molygen and MoS2 motor oils), in which case, it is not necessary to add any more.

On cold starts, the engine oil which has been drained down to the sump, needs to be distributed to all parts of the engine for optimum lubrication. Depending on the viscosity of the oil, this can take as much as 48 seconds. During this time in which the engine is running dry. Liqui Moly anti-friction additives will protect the engine from wear.
